“Below the Tree Line ”

Nicol Adair

April,10th – May 29th, 2026

This exhibition explores the landscapes of Southeast Saskatchewan through photography that highlights the region’s distinctive prairie environments. Shaped by wide skies, rolling grasslands and scattered groves of trees, the landscape reveals a quiet but complex ecosystem.

Within these environments, native plants and wildlife exist in close relationship with the land and the changing prairie seasons. From wild grasses and flowering plants to birds and animals that move through these habitats, each element contributes to the rhythm and resilience of the region.

Through these images, the exhibition invites viewers to consider Southeast Saskatchewan not only as an expansive landscape, but as a living environment where flora, fauna, weather, and time shape the character of the prairie.
